The price is a bit more than most people would like but you do get your value out of it with little annoyance. Wordpress
We used to use Blogger but considering our comic management needs the flexibility of a hosted Wordpress site made the most sense because of its flexibility. Although there have been some issues.
Atom feed issues
The built-in link to the atom feed is broken resulting in this error:
ERROR: atom is not a valid feed template
To fix this we:
- went to header.php in our theme folder
- found this line in our header:
<link rel=”alternate” type=”application/atom+xml” title=”<?php bloginfo(‘name’) ?> Atom Feed” href=”<?php bloginfo(‘atom_url’) ?>” /> - added a 1 to it so it looks like:
<link rel=”alternate” type=”application/atom+xml” title=”<?php bloginfo(‘name’) ?> Atom Feed” href=”<?php bloginfo(‘atom_url’) ?>1″ /> - saved, dumped our cache, and presto the link works
Comicpress
Comicpress is the reason that we are using Wordpress in the first place. The intergration is pretty good and only required a tiny bit of tweaking for the latest release of Wordpress.
