Philosopher's Stone: Influenza = Death
Angie and me have looked at this issue for quite some time, her more than I have. It is happening again and even if it remains a mild strain, there is not enough medicine for a pandemic. We have enough medicine for maybe three percent of the population of the US. It will probably hit 10% at any one point and 40% or more before the end. Do not be lulled into a false sense of security. It has already been stated and it is obvious that the outbreak is no longer containable. Outside a controlled system epidemics don’t fizzle out, they burn themselves out after doing devastating damage. Sometimes they even recur. This is now an appropriate time to panic. At least right now, you can still do something with that extra eumph of motivation.
